1- What is the etymology of tannin in the Semitic languages, in Arabic and Hebrew it describes a mythical creature, seen as a reptile (giant serpent, dragon, giant sea serpent) but also shared in the religious texts in the bible and the prophetic tradition in Islam.
2- Is there any relation with the Berber Tanina that may describe a mythical bird ?

- Berber (Tanina, thanina is some dialects) : is translated as female falcon, female eaglet, mythical bird, phoenix.
